Personnel
With a focus on providing value to its clients, IR has built an experienced technical and management team. It is comprised of experts from the various disciplines associated with geomatics, including application developers, GIS specialists, air photo and remote sensing experts, photogrammetrists, graphic designers, and project managers.

Curt Speight, President
Curt is the President of IR and oversees all aspects of geomatics development. His background extends from technical roles in air photo interpretation to the management of distribution & development programs with the Council of Maritime Premiers and the Nova Scotia Government.

Bert Seely, Manager
Bert is responsible for managing projects and working with clients to develop solutions for their geomatics and human resource requirements. Bert's previous work experience included management positions with the Council of Maritime Premiers and the Nova Scotia Government. Bert has managed and was instrumental in the development of various corporate geographic data programs such as the Nova Scotia Topographic Database (NSTDB), the Nova Scotia Coordinate Referencing System (NSCRS), the Nova Scotia Coastal Series and the Nova Scotia Aerial Photography Database. He has a Certificate in Surveying and a Diploma in Photogrammetry and has completed a number of courses including Project Management, Property Law, Labour Relations, and Human Resources.

Brad Fay, Project Manager
Brad has participated as a leader, facilitator, or advisor to a range of projects, such as agency liaison, geographic information management, policy and standards development, metadata, and civic addressing. Specific examples include facilitation of the inter federal / provincial - territorial Canadian Geomatics Accord, GeoNOVA, and the Gulf of Maine Information Management System. He was also instrumental in the installation of the first operational GIS in the Atlantic Region. These and other projects were undertaken for or while employed by the NS government (SNSMR), the federal government (GeoConnections Program), Council of Maritime Premiers, McGill University, or Interpretation Resources.

Todd Burt, Manager Special Projects
With over 22 years experience in GIS, Todd works with IR's clients throughout all phases of their GIS projects including design, development, and implementation. Todd's hands-on approach to product development has lead to the creation of a number of original products, including the first digital atlases for New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.

Chris Roche, Senior GIS Specialist
With over 15 years of experience in GIS, Chris has been involved with many diverse geographic information projects including a Vegetation Inventory System, Civic Addressing, a Provincial Ambulance Dispatch Database, and Provincial and Regional Atlases. His education background includes a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Geography from Memorial University of Newfoundland, and a Diploma in Planning: Land Information Technology from COGS.

Adele MacDonald, Senior GIS Specialist
Adele provides GIS and technical writing skills to the IR team. Joining IR in 2006, she brings a diverse background in the fields of geology, forestry, and computer outsourcing to the company. Her education background includes an Advanced Diploma in Geographic Information Systems from the British Columbia Institute of Technology, a Bachelor of Science in Geological Engineering from Queen's University, and a Certificate in Technical Communications from Vancouver Island University.

Vic Jeffers, Retail Operations Manager
Vic handles all aspects of Interpretation Resources’ new web store, mapsnovascotia.com. His background includes both technical and management roles in the automotive industry where he was employed for 27 years. His ongoing training in "Customer One" and "Breakaway Selling" from the Fundy Group have helped hone his internet marketing skills.
